the location is fantastic, so central, near the train station and a short walk to the quayside. the staff seemed friendly and helpful (especially during breakfast). our room included complimentary water and air conditioning, very welcome during the heatwave. i found a good amount of storage too.
the floorboards creaked quite a bit, making nighttime visits to the bathroom noisy.

Reflective Stay

spacious roomhigh ceilingsuseful wardrobeearly closure
The room was quite spacious, upgraded with high ceilings. It definitely had a nice boutique feel. I found the full wardrobe quite useful, and the bathroom seemed larger than average. I thought that the hotel was very central.
Unfortunately, the bar closed early on a Sunday. I wanted to have a drink after a theatre performance. I wasn't given any explanation for the early closure.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel is near the train station and the city center. It is even close to the riverfront, which I liked. Many restaurants surround the area, and access is easy.
Dining
8/10
I found several cute cafes nearby for an early breakfast when I chose not to eat at the hotel. The buffet selection was quite nice, I noticed, with hot drinks and juice stations available for all guests.
